Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 12 July 2026
IT-Transform is committed to making atelya.io accessible to everyone, in line with the European Accessibility Act (Directive EU 2019/882) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. Accessibility is part of our design system, not an afterthought. We build compliance software; our own site is held to the same standard.
Conformity status
atelya.io targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The last full audit was completed in June 2026, combining automated tooling and manual review. The site conforms to Level AA on all audited criteria.
Measures in place
- Semantic HTML — landmarks, headings hierarchy, native elements over ARIA workarounds
- Keyboard navigation — skip link, visible focus rings on every interactive element, focus trap on dialogs
- Color contrast — measured ratios from 5.8:1 to 14.4:1 on all text (AA requires 4.5:1)
- Touch targets — minimum 44×44 px on all links and buttons
- Forms — visible labels, inline error messages linked via
aria-describedby,aria-invalidon failing fields - Motion — no autoplaying media, transitions respect
prefers-reduced-motion - Language — the site is available in English, French and Dutch with correct
langattributes
How we audit
The site is audited with Styloscope, our own web compliance engine: 500 checks across 10 pillars including WCAG 2.2, performance, GDPR and green IT. Automated scans are complemented by manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
We eat our own cooking: the same engine we build to audit other websites audits this one.
Known limitations
The decorative background texture may cause some automated contrast checkers to report false positives; measured foreground/background ratios all exceed the AA threshold. PDF documents linked from product pages may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on atelya.io, tell us: contact@atelya.io. We respond within 15 working days and fix confirmed issues in the next release.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Belgian federal enforcement service: SPF Économie.
